TRADE FACILITATION
Trade Facilitation includes negotiation around trade that benefits and or add value to the Federal Government of Nigeria. The Board members of Honking Global Limited have requisite expertise to promote trade and have been in the process for over 20 years. A trade agreement is an attempt to existing industries and or sector to find a new market. Among the trade negotiations includes:
1. Economic Partnership Agreement [EPA)
Between the Economic Community of West African States [ECOWAS] and Europeans Union [EU]
This [Partnership agreement is also called the Cotonou Agreement and it explores reciprocal trade opportunities between West African economies and the European Union Countries.
2. African Growth Opportunity Act [AGOA]
This legislation is a trade gateway between the United States and Countries within the Sub Saharan African [SSA]. The trade platform to provide a new market opportunities for Nigeria into the United States. one of the biggest consumer economy in the world. it was enacted in the year 2000 and it has been extended till 2025.
3. African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA].
This is a flagship and an ambitious project of the African Union’s Agenda 2063 to boost infra-African trade by providing mutually beneficial trade agreement among member States.
